Abstract
Conference registration is mandatory for Indian nationals. For overseas registrants, conference
fee waiver is applicable for accepted e-posters.
Your abstract title and your abstract must be submitted in English. Your abstract may be
automatically rejected if it is submitted in another language.
The title of the abstract must be of maximum 200 characters (approximately 30 words).
Abstracts, excluding title, authors’ names and affiliations, must be of maximum 250 words.
The main body of the abstract should be structured with the following headings:
For original studies: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
For case reports: Background, Case Presentation, and Conclusions.
Please avoid using abbreviations in the title, if possible. Please reduce to a minimum the use
of abbreviations in the main body of the abstract. If you must use an abbreviation, define it
upon first use.
Figures and tables should not be included in your abstract. They should be uploaded in the form
of .pdf or .jpg only.
References can be included in your abstract but will be included in your word count.
Do not include your abstract title or author names in the abstract document upload area.
Please ensure that you add all the authors of your abstract onto the submission form, including
yourself if you are an author. Provide accurate phone numbers and email IDs.
Please ensure correct spelling and affiliations are used. We are unable to add or amend author
names once abstracts have been published.
You must provide a valid email address for your listed presenting author. This will be used to
contact the presenter regarding uploading presentations or posters, if your submission is
successful. Please note that by providing an email address, you are confirming that you have the
author's consent to share their contact details.
If required, DiabetesIndia will use the images and content of the abstract for teaching and
educational purposes.
